"My journey toward creating Medicare Madness started in September of 2008, just a month before my mother turned 65. During a visit home to see her, my mom lamented about the number of Medicare mailings she had received and that she was extremely confused and overwhelmed.

 

My mom expressed that she couldn't tell the difference between official Medicare mailings and junk mail. Since I worked in the health insurance, benefits, and Medicare industry, I sat down with her and we reviewed everything together. I asked her relevant questions and then researched Medicare health plan options for her. After sharing what I found, I helped mom select the plan that best fit her individual needs. Since then, she has never had to worry about feeling confused about Medicare and instead feels confident about her coverage. 

 

That experience helped me realize that I could help seniors select the best Medicare plan and receive the coverage they need instead of feeling confused. It was out of this experience that Medicare Madness was created." -Jon Ebersole
